RESOLUTION NO. 1274
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON EXPRESS-
ING SORROW AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO THE MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY
OF E. R. PERALTA,. CITY COUNCILMAN, UPON HIS PASSING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, our beloved City Councilman E. R. Peralta,
did pass away on July 30, 1945, and
WHEREAS, the said E. R. Peralta has served the City
of Vernon faithfully and well continuously from March 10, 1933
to the date of his death, and
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon has suffered an irreparable
loss in the passing of the said E. R. Peralta, both as a citi-
zen and a City Councilman:
NOW.. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of
Vernon, both officially and as individuals extend their sincere
sympathy to the brothers and sisters of our beloved City Council-
man in their bereavement and to the people of the City of Vernon
in the loss of a faithful and honored public servant.
Section 2. The City Clerk is authorized and directed
to spread upon the Minutes of the City Council a full, true and
correct copy of this resolution.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution
to the brothers and sisters of our deceased member, to-wit: to
Cayetano Peralta, Jose Peralta, Jesus Peralta, Dan Peralta,
N~s. Victoria Ybarra, Mrs. Rosano Lopez and Mrs., Rose Harbour
Section 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the pas-
sage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
