A RESOLUTION OF TlIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPOINT-
ING GEREVIEV!E ANDERSON AS C OUNC ILMAN IN THE PLACE AND STEAD OF
E. R. PERALTA TO SERVE UNTIL THE NEXT GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION.
TB.~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, WtlEREAS, the office of E. R. Peralta being now
vacant by virtue of the passing from this life of the said E. R.
Peral ta, and
WHEREAS, it is the duty of the City Council under the
general laws of the State of California to appoint a person, a
resident of the City of Vernon, eligible to the office of City
Councilman, and
WHEREAS, G.fi6Yi'~ Anderson, being qualified under the
laws for said appointment:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That geney1:.~V'e Anderson be, and she is
hereby appointed as Councilman in the place and stead of E. R.
Peralta.
Section 2. That the said Genal1tW' Anderson shall
hold said office until the next general municipal election.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
breby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution,
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
