RESOLUTION NO. 1283
A. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AU'fHORIZING
AND INSTRUC TING THE CITY TREASURER OF THE CITY OF VERN ON TO TRANSFER
FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING AN INTERLOCU'fORYJUDGMENT IN CON-
DEMNATION PROCEEDINGS No. 505551, IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT WHEREAS, the Superior C'ourt of the State of Cal-
ifornia in and for the County of Los Angeles, being case No.
505551, has heretofore entered its interlocutory judgment for the
payment of $73,300.00 for condemnation of the land described in
said complaint, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to pay said
sum of $73,300.00:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES OL VED:
Section 1. That the City Treasure of the City of
Vernon, be and he is hereby authorized, instructed and empowered
to pay the said.t73,300.00 from the following funds:
.. $44,359.20 from the Water-Land Sale Fund
$28,940.80 from the General Water Fund
Section 2.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to
certify t9 the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
