THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES l1ESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Ernest Giles, Chief of Police of the City of Vernon was heretofore granted a leave of absence for an undetermined period of time, not to exeeed ninety days. Section 2. The said Ernest Giles has informed the City Council that he is now ready to again go to work as of February 5, 1946. Section 3. The City Clerk of the Ci ty of Vernon is hereby directed to place the name of Ernest Giles on the pay- roll and that he be instructed to go to work at the same salary, as heretofore received. Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
