RESOLUTION No. 1288
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF VERNON AUTHOR-
IZING G. A. ANDERSON, DEPUTY CITY TREASURER, TO ACT IN THE PLACE
OF AND FOR F. G. FRENCH, CITY TREASURER OF THE CITY OF VERNON,
DURING THE ILLNESS OF SAID CITY TREASURER, OR UNTIL ORDER OF THE
CITY C OUNC IL OF THE CITY OF VEP,NON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

THAT, WHEREAS, the City Treasurer of the City of Vernon,
F. G. FRENCH, is now ill in the hospital and is unable to per-
form his duty as City Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the Deputy City Treasurer
be authorized to perform the duties of the City Treasurer during
his absence:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That G.A. Anderson, Deputy City Treasurer,
be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to perform the
duties of the City Treasurer during his absence on account of
illness.
Section 2.
That the Said G. A.Anderson is authorized
and instructed to sign all check drawn upon the C'itizens Nation-
al Trust & Savings Bank of Los Angeles or the First National Bank
of Vernon, during said absence of said City Treasurer.
Section 3. The said G. A. Anderson is hereby authorized
and instructed to perform all of the necessary duties of the City
mreasurer during said illness.
Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby authorized and instructed to file a certified copy of
this Resolution with the Citizens National Trust & Savings
Bank of Los Angeles and the First National Bank of the City
of Vernon.
SEction 5.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the aame shall be in full force and effect.
