RESOLUTION NO. 1305
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON TRANS-
FERRING FROM THE WATER DEPARTMENT FUND TO THE EMERGENCY FUND
OF THE CITY OF VERNON~ THE SUM OF $26l,483.85.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, WHEREAS, there has been transferred from time
to time from the General Fund and the Emergency Fund of the
City of Vernon to the Water Department Fund the sum of
$325,272.2~; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of
the City of Vernon at this time to transfer from the Water
Department Fund to the Emergency Funq, a portion of said amount:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That the City Treasurer of the City of
Vernon be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to trans-
fer from the Water Department Fund to the Emergency Fund the
sum of $26l~483.85.
Section 2. The transfer of said funds by the City
Treasurer of the City of Vernon shall be effective as of July
1st, 1946.
Section 3.
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same sballbe in full force and
effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED, this 6th dayof August, 1946.
