RESOLUTION NO. 1310
A. RESOL.UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, ,f.BABD'OJJ-
INS LOT 37, in Block 3 of AldineSquare Tract AS PER MAP RECORDED
IN BOOK 29, PAGElS, MISCELLANEOUS RECORDS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, a~ INSTRUCTING THE CLERK TO POST NOTICE FOR THE
SALE OF SAID PROPERTY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has
heretofore purchased cert~n property hereinafter described for
the city; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon, after
careful study and discussion, have come to the conclusion that
said property cannot be beneficially used by the City for any
purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section l. That the property heretofore acquired
by said city, described as Lot 37, Block 3 of Aldine Square
Tract, as per map recorded in Book 29, page l2,Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California, be, and the same
is hereby abandoned for the use for which it was originally
purchased.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby determines and 'declares that it would be to the best
interest and benefit of the City if said property was sold.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby authorized and instructed to post notice for the sale
of said property in three of the most public places in said
City and upon said property or upon a telegraph pole in front
of said property, if there be suc~ a telephone or telegraph pole.
Section 4. That said property shall be sold to the
highest and best bidder for cash on August 20, 1946 at the time
and place set forth in said notice.
Section 5. The Ci~y Clerk of the City of Vernon

2 1ution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in
3 full force and effect.
