A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, APPROV-
ING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR ACCUMULATION QF 1/4 CENT GAS
TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, a memorandum of agrement has been presented
to be entered into with the State of California for accumulation
of the l/4 cent gas tax for streets of major importance for
the fiscal year 1947 for the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement
in full and is familiar with the contents thereof:
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
That under the provisions of Section 200 of the Streets
abd Highways Code, the l/4 cent gas tax allocated for streets of
major importance be accumulated for future expenditure and that
said agreemenu be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
a~d City Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of said
City, said agreement to be binding upon the City, upon its execu-
tion by the authorized officials of the State.
