2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON~ APPROV-
ING SALE OF REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION NO. 1310.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon
has heretofore, to-wit: on August 6, 1946 authorized and in-
structed the City Clerk of the City of Vernon to advertise for
sale Lot 37, in Block 3 of the A1dine Square Tract, as per Map
redorded in Book 29, page 12, Miscellaneous Records o~ Los
Angeles County, California; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City did advertise
th] purchase of said property from Buttress & McClellan, Inc. and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon did
ac ept said bid for said sum of #6300.00:
NOW, TH~REFORE, BE IT RESOL VED:
Section 1.
Tha t the Mayor and City Clerk of the
City of Vernon be authorized and instructed to execute a deed
in the name of the City of Vernon transferring said property
herein described to Buttress & McClellan, Inc., or its nominee,
upon the paYment to the city of the sum of $6300.00.
Section 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this Resolution and thereupon.and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect. .
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 26th day of August, 1946.
