RESOLUTION No. l320
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, ACCEPT-
ING GRANT OF EASEMENT FROM WESTERN CHEMICAL & MANUFACTURING CO.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT WHEREAS, THE WESTERN CHEMICAL & MANUFACTURING CO.
has tendered to the City of Vernon the attached Grant of Ease-
ment, and
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon is desirious of accepting
same:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section l.~ That the City of Vernon does hereby ac-
cept the attached grant of easement from the Western Chemioal &
Manufac turing Co.
Section 2. The City Clerk $s authorized, instructed
and empowered to have same recorded in the name of the City.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
. effect.

Gentlemen:
Regarding easement of Western Chemical and Manufacturing Company,
I am enclosing for official acceptance by the City of Vernon a copy
of an easement already signed by Western Chemical and Manufacturing
Company. After official acceptance and its return to the Southern
California Edison COllpany, we will have it properly recorded and
returned to the City of Vernon. I
This easement co.ers the right of way for a prima.ry line starting
from Edison-Vernon EV pole 1155g9, located approximately at the corner
of Downey Road, and Washington Blvd. and extends along the westerly
property line of Western Chemical 'in a southwesterly direction 'for a
distance of approximately 247 fee.t terminating in a transformer platform
rack.
The balance of the easement cover,s the service from the rack to
the service head on the consumer t s property.
