RESOLUTION NO. 1322
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY C OUNC IL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CAL~
IFORNIA, DECLARING THE PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES TO
BE USED IN THE DRILLING OF TWO WATER WELLS AND IfBR DEVELOPMENT
AND TESTING THEREOF FOR THE CITY OF VERNON, DESCRIBED IN
SPECIFICATION No. 14l, HERETOFORE APPROVED BY TlIE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CJ;TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOESRESOLVE:)AS FOLLOWS:
Section l.
The City Council of the City of Vernon-
does hereby find and declare that the prevailing rate per diem
wages for laborers, workmen and mechanics employed by contr,ct-
ors and 'ub-contractors for the doing of any work set forth in
Specification No. l4l, is as follows:

For any craft not included in the above list, the
minimum per diem wages shall be the general prevailing wages
for the locality and shall not be less than $9.00 per day.

The foregoing schedule of wages is based upon a
working day of eight (8) hours; the hourly wage rate shall be
the per diem rate divided by the aforementioned number of hours
constituting a working day.
Section 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the pas-
age of this resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
