2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ABANDON-
ING PROCEEDINGS UNDER ORDINANCE #601.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
5 THAT, 'WHEREAS, the City of Vernon has heretofore
6 started proceedings to close up, vacate and abandon portions
7 of Alcoa Avenue, in the City of Vernon; and
8 WHEREAS an error in the proceedings under Ordinance
9 No. 601 has been detec~edj and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of abandoning
11 proceedings under Ordinance No. 601 and start the pro8eedings
12 over:
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. That the City Council of the City of
15 Vernon does find and declare that an error has been detected
16 in Ordinance No. 601, Ordinance of Intention to close up,
17 vacate and abandon certain portions of a city street, set forth
18 in said ordinance.

Section 2. The City Council does hereby determine
and declare that for the best interests of the City of Vernon
the proceedings initiated in Ordinance No. 601 be, and the

same are hereby abandoned.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
