2 A RESOLtJTION OF ~HE CITY COUl'CIL OF ~HE CITY OF VERNON ALLOWING
LEE MEl'mOZA 'f0 USE AND OCCUPY THE OLD CITY HALL TEMPORARILY FOR
:5 TBE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING SAME AS A PUBLIC BUILDII'G FOR 'fBE USE
OF 'fBE CITY OF VERNON

'fBE CITY COOCIL OF ~HE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

6 THA'f# 'WHEREAS, the City is now the ollner of Lot 47
7 in Block 2 of the Alden Square 'fract, as per map of said
8 tract, recorded in Book 29, page 12, Miscellaneous Records
9 in the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles Count,.;
10 and
11 WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to maintain
12 the building now upon said premises for the use of the City
13 of Vernon in vhich to conduct and carI7 on a portion of the
14 city's b.siness; and
15 WHEREAS, the building is now temporarily vacant and
16 it is the desire of the city that; said building be kept in
17 good repair for its use and benefit:

Section 1. That Lee .Mendoza, who is now emplo,.ed
by the City as a kintenance Man. in the Water Department, be
allowed to use and occupy said building temporarily for the pur-
pose of keeping said building in good repair for the use and
purpose above stated.
Section. 2.
'fhat said Lee .Mendoza shall occupy
said building only temporarily at the will of the City Council
and shall allow no one to use or occupy said building except
himself and his immediate family.
Section 3.
!'he City Clerk shall certif"7 to the
passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
