RESOLUTION No. 1341
A RESOLT:fl.'ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNOI'
CORREC'fING MINUTES OF DECEMBER 3, 1946. .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
'fRAT, WHEREAS, the Atchison" 'fopeka Be Santa Fe Rail-
way Company did submit to the City of Vernon an easement f:or
additional area and drainage in 'Washington Boulevardj and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Vernon
did present to the City Council on December 3, 1946 said ease-
ment together with his recommendation that said easement be
accepted and recorded; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of: the City of Vernon did
on said date accept said easement as shown by the minutes of:
said date j and
WHEREAS" through 1nadvertance no resolution was
drawn shown the action of the City Council of: said date accept-
ing same:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That the City Council of the City of:
Vernon did on December 3, 1946 accept that certain easement
executed by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
to the City of Vernon, a copy of which said easement is hereto
attached and made a part hereof.
Section 2.
The City Clerk of: the City of: Vernon
be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to have same
recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles
County, California.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of: Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and eff:ect.

Topeka and Santa. Fe Ra.ilway Company, to the City
of Vernon, for additional area and drainage ease-
ment in/Washington Boulevard. This was negotiated
by the Road. Department, County of Los Angeles, in
connect.ion with ,payement widening which they intend
to do in that street.
Complying with request by Mr. O. F. Cooley,
Road Comrnissioner,in his letter of the 19th instant,

Atchison, Topeka and Sant.a Fe Railway Company to the City
of Vernon, dated August 28, 1946, describing portions of
Lots .81 and 82, Tract No.1, Rancho Laguna, in connection
"wi th the Widening of Washington Boulevard and a drainage
easement. within the limits of your City and in connection
with our Cash Contract No. 576. I am also enclosing a
deed maP showing the right otway colored in red. I am
also enclosing copy of letter of October 28, 1946 from
Mr. E. E. Mccarty, of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe
Railway Company. .
Will you kindly have these documents accepted
by your Honorable City Council and recorded, advising me
as to the date of acceptance and .recording. .
