2 A RESOLU'fION OF THE GIft COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, FIXIlfa
. THE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEBS OF THE. FIRE DEPARTJ.IEJ.fr OF THE CITY OF
3 VERNON, AND THE COMPENSATION THEREOF, AS OF NOVEMBER 1, 1947
UNTIL FURTHER. ORDER OF THE CIft COUNCIL, AND REPEALING ALL
4 RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT WITH THIS RESOLUTION.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1.
That the number of employees of! the
7 Fire Department of! the City of Vernon" . and the salary of same,
8 from and after November 1, 1947 until further order of the City
9 Council of the City of Vernon, shall'be ~xed as follows:
1 Fire Chief .
$ 412.40 per month
295.50 per month
295.50 per month
295.50 per month
273.50 per month

18 Rosemen - All hosemen in the employe~ of! the City
shall receive a salary of $205.00 per month until they have
been in the employ of the City for a period of one year; $210.00
per month until they ~ve been employed for a period of two
years and $251.30 per month thereafter until further order of
the City Council of the City of Vernon.
Section 2.
That the personnel and their salaries
of the City Fire Department set forth in Section 1 hereof" shall
be in f!ull force and effect from and after November 1" 1947 and
shall continue until further order o~ the City Council.
Section 3.
Resolution No. 1301 and all other resolu-
tions in conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4.
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
2 is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolu~
3 tion and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in :full
4 force and effect.
5 Adopted and approved this 21st day of October" 1947.
