RESOLUTION NO. 1358
A RESOLUTION OF 'fEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON OBJECTING
TO AND OPPOSING THE CREATION OF A SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT, IN-
CLUDING SEWER DISTRCIT NO. I" of the City of Vernon.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIft OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Vernon has
,
informed the City Council that there is a movement on foot to
create a new sanitary sewer distrcit, which shall be known as
Sewer District No. 18" to include the now-established sewer
District No. 1 of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS" the City Council of said City is opposed and
objects to the creation of said sewer district:
NOW 'l'HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1.
The City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby unanimously officially pppose and object to the
creation of the Sanitary Sewer District #18" which includes
a portion of the City of Vernon" being Sewer Dis~rict No. 1
of said City.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED, December 2, 1947.
