1 RESOLUTION NO. 1362
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON GRANTING
PERMISSION TO THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO ABSTAIN HDISELF FROM
3 REGULAR MEETINGS OF SAID CITY COUNCIL UNTIL HE IS PHYSICALLY
ABLE SO TO DO.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
6 THAT, WHEREAS" the Mayor of the City of Vernon,
7 John B. Leonis" is temporarily incapacitated from attending
8 the meetings of the City CounCil; and
9 WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of
10 said City to grant permission to the Mayor to abstain himself from
11 regular meetin&s of the City Council until he has regained his
12 health:
13 NOW', THEREFORE, BE. IT RESOLVED:

Section 1.
That the City Council of the City of
15 Vernon does hereby grant permission to John B. Leonis, Mayor of
16 the City of Vernon to abstain himself from regular meetings of
17 the City Council until he has regained his health and is able
18 to attend said regular meetings of said city council.

Section 2.
The.City Clerk of the City.oi' Vernon
20 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
21 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
22 Adopted and approved this 20th day of January, 1948.
