A RESOLUTION OF THE CI1'Y COOCIL OF '!'HE CI'l'Y OF \'DBON ACCEPTInG
THE PROPOSAL OF !BE comrn OF LOS ANGELES IfHllOUGll. ITS ROAD COM-
MISSIOBER FOR !HE. PAINTING OF A TRAFFIC STRIP O. DOWREY ROAD.
THE CIfi COUBCIL OF '!BE CI'fY OF YERKO. DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
TllAIf, WHEREAS, the Road Commissioner of the County of
Los Angeles, State of California, has submitted to the City of
Vernon a proposal for repainting a traffic strip on Downey Road
of approximately 4900 feet, wherein the City of Vernon will pay
$40.00:

KOW, THEREFORE, BE IIf RESOLVED:
Section 1. 1'hat public interest and necessity re-
12 . quire that the City of Vernon expend. the sum of $40:00 for the
13 painting of a traffic strip within the city limits of the City
14 of Vernon, approximately 4900 feet On Downey Road in said City.

Section 2.
The City Clerk of said City is authorized
16 to enter into an agreement with the County of Los A.ngeles"
17 through its Road Commissioner to carry into effect this reso-
18 lution.

Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shaJ.l
20 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and there-
21 after the same shall be in full force and effect..
