RESOLUTION No.1366
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPOINT-
ING EDWIN H. HALL AS HEALTH OFFICER OF THE CITY OF VERNON FROM
MARCH 1st" 1948 UNTIL FURTHER ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
~HAT" WHEREAS, the office of City Health Officer having
heretofore become vacant by virtue of the deatJJ.' .0f.George D.
Wells;
WHEREAS" the City Council is desirous of appointing
a health office for the City of Vernon; and
'WHEREAS, Edwin H. Hall is a duly licensed and pract-
icing physician and is qualified to assume the office of
Health Officer of the City of Vernon:
NOW, 'fHEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1.
That Edwin H. Hall, ~~92 So. Santa Fe
Avenue, Vernon, be, and he is hereby appointed as Health Officer
of the City of Vernon" in place of George D. Wells, deceased"
the said Edwin H. Hall to serve as city Health Officer from
March 1, 1948 until fUrther order of the City Council.
Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
thereupon and thereafter same shall be in fUll force and effect.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 1366, was
duly adopted by the City Council of Uhe City of Vernon" and ap-

held on March 2nd, 1948.
