A RESOLUTION OF !HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
DE PROPOSAL OF THE COmiTY OF LOS ANGELES THROUGH I'l'S ROAD COM-
MISSIONER FOR !HE PAINTING OF A PROPOSED TRAFFIC STRIPING ON
SLAUSOIf AVEIfUE BETWEElf DOWDY ROAD AllD BOYLE AVUfJE.
'!'HE CITY COOCIL OF .THE CITY OF VERBON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
!.fIAT, WHBRBAS, the Road Commissioner of the County
of Los Angeles" State of California" has submitted to the City
of Vernon a proposal for repainting a traffic strip on Smauson
Avenue between Downey Roa.d and Boyle Avenue, wherein the City
of Vernon will pay $30.00:
NOW, 'l'HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1.
That public interest and necessity re-
quire that the City of Vernon expend the sum of $30.00 for the
painting of a traffic strip on Slauson Avenue between Downey
Road and Boyle Avenue in said City.
Section 2.
The City Clerk of said City is authorized
to enter into an agreement with the County of Los Angeles, thrc:u gh
its Road Commissioner to carry into effect this resolution.
Section 3.
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same sha.ll be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED ADD APPROVED this 6th day of
1948.

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 1369 was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Vernonl and approved
