RESOLUTION NO. 1379
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON CONSENTING
TO AND APPROVING THE ACTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, IN ADOPTING A RESO-
LUTION DECLARING BOYLE AVENUE FROM SLAUSON AVENUE TO LEONIS BOULE-
VARD.IN THE CITY OF VERNON, A PORTION OF THE COUNTY SYSTEM OF
HIGHWAYS OF SAID LOS ANGELES COUNTY TO BE IMPROVED WITH CON-
STRUCTION OF CEMENT CImCRETE CURB, GUTTER" WALK" DRIVEWAYS"
7" ASPHALTIC CONCRETE PAVEMENT AND DRAINAGE STRUCTURES AS
SET FORTH IN SAID RESOLUTION.
THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:;
THAT" WHEREAS" the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Los Angeles" State of Californma" did on the 13th day of
April" 1948 declare Boje Avenue from Slauson Avenue to Leonis
Boulevard in the City of Vernon to be a part of the County
system of Highways and to be improved with cement concrete
curb" gutter" walk, driveways" 7" asphaltic concrete pavement
and drainage structures" as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of said County
has requested the consent of the City Council of the City of
Vernon to perform said acts:
NOW" THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1.
That the City Council of the City of
Vernon does hereby consent to and approve the action of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of Los Angeles, State of Calif-
ornia" in declaring Boyle Avenue from Slauson Avenue to
Leonis Boulevard in the City of Vernon, to be a part of the
County System of highways of Los Angeles County" as provided
in Sections 1700 to 1702 inclusive of the Street and Highway
Code of the State of California.
Section 2.
That the City Council of' the City of
Vernon does hereby consent to the improvement by said County
of Los Angeles, of Boyle Avenue in the manner provided for
in said resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said Los
Angeles County, adopted Apr~l~ 13, 1948.

Section 3.
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Reso-
lution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 4th day of May" 1948.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 1379, was
