A RESOLUTION OF '!'HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING
THE lfUMBER OF EMPLOYEES,. OF T.HE FIRE DEPAR'1'MDT OF '!'HE CITY
OF VERNON '
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 'VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. That the' 'nwhber of employees of the

Fire Departm.ent of the City of VernOn" until further order
of the City Council, as of June 1" 1948 shall be as follows:
1 Fire Chief
1 Battalion Chief
5 Captains
1 Fire Alarm Expert
10 Drivers
1 Mechanic
2 Relief Drivers
1 Refinery Inspector
1 Secretary
18 Hosemen
Section 2. That the personnel of said Fire Depart-
ment" as set forth in Section 1 hereof, shall be in full force
and effect from and. After June 1, 1948 and shall continue
until further order of the City Council.
Section 3. That the Battalion Chief of the City
Fire Department shall serve under the Fire Chief and have
full charge of all fire prevention work in the City of Vernon.
Section 4.
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
and thereupon and thereafter same shall be in full force and
effect.
