mAf, WHEREAS, the City has heretofore publicl)" adver-
tised for bids for the furnishing and delivery of all material
and the con.struction of a ;fence at pumping plant #2 in the Cit)"
of Vernon; and

'WHEREAS, the Southern California Fence Company has filed
a bid for the completion of said work in. the total sum. of
$14-159.41:
NOY, i'REREFORE, BE If RESOLVED:
Section 1. !hat all bids heretofore received for the
15 furnishing and deliver)" of material and the construction of a
16 fence at Pwnping Plant 12 in accordance with Specifications
17 1114-4 and Plans #B5-l05l., be and the same are hereby rejected
18 vi th the exception of the bid of Southern California Fence
19 Company and that they be awarded the contract at the price -.ad
20 in their bid, to-wit: $4159.41.

Section 2. !he Ci t)" Clerk is hereby instructed and
22 empowered to return all checks to unsuccessful bidders.

Section 3. That the City Attorney of the Cit)" of
Vernon be authorized to drav a contract to colU'orm to the bid
of said contractor.
Section 4.
!he City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter thesame shall be in full force and effect.
