7 a complete check on all officers and employees of the City of
8 Vernon.:
9 BOW 1 'mEREFORE# BE I'l' RESOLVED:

Section 1: 'T.aat all officers and employees of the
11 City of Vernon be, alid. they are requested to make a loyalty
12 oath so that the City Council may be in a position at all times
13 to know if said officers and employees are loyal citizens of
14 the United States Government.

Section 2:
'l'.b.a t the head of ea.ch department be and
16 they are hereby instructed to secure an affi4avit from all per-
17 sons under oath and. to make an. affidavit themselves setting
18 forth the facts as required by the attached form of affida.vit.

Section 3:
'l'.b.e City Clerk of the City of VerBon
20 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
21 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
