2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CIfi COIDlCIL OF THE CIfi OF VERNO." FIXIlfG
3 THE IAn: OF A CERTAIN STREET WI'lHIN '!'HE CIfi OF VERNON.
4 THE CIfi COIDlCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
5 THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Vernon has acquired certain
6 properties vithin said City for street purposes; and
7 WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that
8 public Interest and convenience vould best be served by fiXing
9 and designating a name for said street, so that henceforth
10 said street would have one official name andvould not be
11 confuSing to the citizens of said City:
12 }lOW" THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1.
'!'hat public interest and convenience
14 require and the City Council of the City of Vernon does hereby
15 order that the name of 46th Str&t be applied to that certain
16 street being situated in the City of Vernon between the easter-
17 ly line of Soto Street and the westerly line of Boyle Avenue,
18 with center line thereof parallel with and 681.43 feet perpendic-
19 ularly distant., northerly rrom the center line of Leonis
20 Boulevard.

Section 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the pass-
22 age of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same
23 shall be in full force and effect.
24 ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 19th day of October, 1948.
