RESOLUTION NO. 1409
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING
SPECIFICATIONS No. 146 FOR ONE NEW MOTOR TRUCK AND ACCESSORIES
FOR THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of
Vernon has presented Specifications No. 146 as the specifica-
tions for one new motor truck and accessories to be used in
the Street Department of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of approving said
specifications and has instructed the City Clerk to advertise
for bids for the furnishing of same:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1.
That Specifications No. 146 heretofore
submitted to the City by the City Engineer of said City, be
and the same are hereby approved as the specifications for
furnishing to the City one new Motor Truck and accessories.
Section 2.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
instructed to advertise for bids for the furnishing of same,
and in said Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals the City will re-
serve the right to trade in on said truek one used 1936 model
Dodge dump truck, 6 eylinder, Which may be inspected by bidders
at the City Hall yard, 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon., California
Section 3.
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effeet.
