RESOLUTION NO. 1411
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROV-
1NG SPECIFICATIONS No. 147 FOR ONE NEW MOTOR TRUCK AND ACCESS-
ORIES FOR CITY OF VERNON WATER DEPARTMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Vernon
has presented Specifications No. 147 for one new motor truck and
a<<essories for use in the Water Department in the City of Vernon;
and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of approving said speci-
fications No. 147 and to instruct the City Clerk to advertise
for bids for the furnishing of same:
NOW., THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1.
That Specifications No. 147 heretofore
submitted to the City by the City Engineer of said City. be and
the same are hereby approved as the specifications for furnish-
ing to the City one new motor truck and accessories.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and in-
structed to advertise for bids for the furnishing of same.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED, November 3rd, 1948.
