RESOLUTION NO. 1417
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT-
ING THE FURNISHINGAND CONSTRUCTION OF ONE FENCE IN THE CITY
OF VERNON AT PUMPING PLANT #2.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT., WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon
did heretofore enter into a contract with the Southern Califor-
nia Fence Company for the furnishing and construction of a
fence at the City's Pumping Plant No.2, more particularly
described in Specifications No. 144 and Plans #B5-1051; and
WHEREAS the City Engineer of the City of Vernon has
filed a report with the City Council that said fence has been
constructed in a satisfactory manner in accordance with said
Specifications #144; and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous o~ accepting said fence
at this time, as so described in said Specifications #144 and
Plans #B5-l051, as a completed fence:
NOW., THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the contract for the furnishing and
construction of a fence for t~e City of Vernon hereinbefore
described is hereby accepted as a completed fence in accordance
with Specifications No. 144 and the Notice Inviting Sealed Pro-
posals or Bids and the Bid of the Contractor.
Section 2.
The City Treasurer of the City of Vernon
is authorized and instructed to pay to the Southern California
Fence Company thesum of $4159.41, including California Sales Tax.
