A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEP~ING
EASQEN~ DEED FROM S'rEPHDS ADAMSON MAlfUFAC!f.'URING COMPAIY, A
CORPORATION.
mE CITY COUWCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THA~, WHEREAS, Stephens Adamson Manufacturing Company,
a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the
State of Illinois., has tendered to the City of Vernon the attached
easement deed for certain properties to be used for the purposes
described in said deed; and
WHEREAS, The City of Vernon is desirous of accepting
same:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That the City of Vernon does hereby
accept the easement deed from Stephens Ad.amson Manufacturing
Company, to the City of Vernon.
Section 2.
The City Clerk is authorized, in-
structed and empowered to have same recorded in the office of
the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, in the name of
the City.
Section 3.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effe4t.

Gentlemen:
In connection with our plan to install an 8- water main south
from our property, along SACO street, to connect with your city
water system, as outlined in our letter addressed to you on
August 18th of this year, we have had a title search made of
our easement, and enclose herewith a copy of the report received
from the Title Insurance and Trust Company on this subject.
We also turned over to our attorneys the easement deed prepared
by your city attorney, Mr. Thomas V. Cassidy, together with copy
of this title search report and ask that they get together with
Mr. Cassidy and come to some agreement that will permit us to
get started on the installation o~ this water main.
The report we received from our attorneys Gibson, Dun and Crutcher
on this matter (copy o~ this letter enclosed) indicated that the
title reports appear to be satisfactory, and that an agreement has
been reached with your Mr. Cassidy to make use of the easement deed
prepared by him in granting your city an easement over our easement for
water main purposes. Accordingly, the easement deed drawn up by Mr.
Cassidy has now been executed by the proper officials of our company
under seal, and we hand it to you herewith.
Will you kindly let us know when this matter has finally been cleared
with all of the of~icials of your city who might be concerned, as we
are most anxious to get under way on this project now, without further
delay.
If there is anything further that you require, from us in this connection,
kindly let us know at the earliest possible moment.
