RESOLUTION NO. 1420
A RESOLUTION OF '!'HE CI'l'Y COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF VERNON AUTHORIZ-
ING THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON PARK TO CONSTRUCT CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS
IN THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Park is desirous
or improving 52nd street between Paeiric Boulevard and Malabar
Street; and
"WHEREAS, a certain portion of said street is within
the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, the City or Huntington Park is desirous that
the City of Vernon grant jurisdiction to construct the street
improvement in that portion of 52nd Street lying within the City
of Vernon; and
WHEREAS the City of Huntington Park desires to make
said improvement under their plan 1834; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Vernon has
examined said Plan 1834 and recommends that said plan be ap-
proved for the purpose of doing said work and that the City
of Vernon grant jurisdiction to the City of Huntington Park
to make the improvements in 52nd Street in accordance with
said plan. 1834:
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved as follows:
Section 1. The City of Vernon does hereby grant
permission for the City of Huntington Park to improve 52nd
Street., between Pacific and Malabar Streets within the City
of Vernon, in accordance with city of Huntington Park's Plan
1834.
Section 2.
That all of said work set forth in said
plan 1834 shall be done at the expense of the City of Hunting-
ton Park, and the City of Vernon shall not be called upon to
pay any expense whatever in connection with said improvement.

Section 3.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to
2 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
