RESOLUTION NO. 1421
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON GRANTING
PERMISSION TO COUNCILMAN J. B. LEONIS OF SAID CITY TO ABSTAIN
HIMSELF FROM REGULAR MEETINGS OF SAID CITY COUBCIL UNTIL HE IS
PHYSICALLY ABLE TO DO SO.
THE CITY COUBCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT WHEREAS., Councilman J. B. Leonis of the city
of Vernon is temporarily incapacitated from attending the meet-
ings of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of
said City to grant permission to said councilman to abstain
himself from regular meetings of the City Council until he has
regained his health:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1.
That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby grant permission to John B. Leonis, Councilman of the
City of Vernon~to abstain himself from regular meetings of the
City Council until he has regained his health and is'able to
attend said regular meetings of said City Council.
Section 2.
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same Shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AM) APPROVED the 15th day of February, 1949.
