RESOLUTION NO. 1lt-30
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON GRANTING
PERMISSION TO COUNCIU1AN J. B. LEONIS OF SAID CITY TO ABSENf
HIMSELF FROM REGULAR MEETINGS OF SAID CITYCCOUNCIL FOR A PERIOD
OF 60 DAYS COMMENCING APRIL 19, 1949.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
mAT WHEREAS, Councilman J. B. Leonls of the city
of Vernon is temporarily unable to attend the meetings of the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of
said City to grant permission to said councilman to absent
himself from regular meetings of the C1 ty Council until he
is physically able:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of
Vernpn does hereby grant permission to J. B. Leonis, Council-
man of the City of Vernon to absent himself fram regular meet-
ings of the City Council for _a period of 60 days, commencing
April 19, 1949.
Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 19th day of April, 1949

certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 1430 was duly adopted
by the City Council of the City of Vernon, and approved by the
