A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A DISCLAIMER
IN AN ACTION IN THE SUPERIOR COURT, COUNTY OF LOS
. ANGELES, ENTITLED nSANTA FE :LAND AND IMPROVEMENT
COMPANY vs. COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES ET AL.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That a disclaimer be riled in
the action entitled, uSANTA FE LAND AND IMPROVEMENT
COVJ>ANY, a corporation, vs. COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, ET ALII,
pending in the Superior Court of the State of California,
in and for the County of Los Angeles, and numbered 540485,
disclaiming and right, title and interest of the City or
Vernon in and to the land described in said action, excepting
therefrom any portion of said land included:~in public
streets, roads or alleys in the City of Vernon; and that
R. J. Furlong, as Mayor of the City of Vernon, is authorized
to sign said disclaimer for and on behalr of said City of
Vernon.
Section 2. The City Clerk Shall certify to the
passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 19th day of April, 1949.

On motion duly made and seconded and unanimously carried,
the following resolution was adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED that a disclaimer be filed in
the action enti tIed, "SANTA FE LAND AND IMPROVEMENT
COMPANY, a corporation, vs. COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES,
ET ALu, pending in the Superior Court of the State
of California, in and for the County of Los Angeles,
and numbered 540485, disclaiming any right, title
and interest of the City of Vernon in and to the
land described in said action, excepting therefrom
any portion of said land included in public streets,
roads or alleys in the City of Vernon; and that
R. J. Furlong, as Mayor of the City of Vernon, is
