2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE GITY OF VERNON APPROV-
ING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR ACCUMULATION OF GAS TAX ALLO-
3 CATION TO CITIES:
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE,AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented

6 to be entered into with the state of California for acoumulation
7 of gas tax allocation to cities for the fiscal year 1950 in the
8 City of Vernon; and

WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read 8aidagr.~-
10 men.t in full and is"familiar with the oontents thereof:'

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that under"the pro~
12 visions of Section 200 of the Streets and Highways Code" ,the
13 gas tax allocated for major city streets be accumulated for
14 future expend.! ture and that said agreement be and the same is.
15 hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are direoted to
16 sign the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be
17 binding upon the City upon its execution by the authar1z.:d
18 officials of the State.
