THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, there is a vacancy in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Vernon, caused by the death of Thomas J.
Furlong, City Clerk, on the 11th day of February, 1950.
Now Therefore, G. A. Anderson is hereby appointed City
Clerk of the City of Vernon for the remainder of the unexpired

term of Thomas J. Furlong.
Section 1. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution, and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this
