RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO PLACE UPON THE BALLOT OF THE GENERAL ELECTION
ON APRIL 11, 1950, THE QUESTION OF COMPENSATION FOR THE CITY
COUNCILMEN.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

Section. 1. That the City Clerk shall place upon 'the
7 ballot at the general election held April 11, 1950, and submit
8 to the electors of said City the question of whether Councilmen"~
9 shall each receive compensation for services as Councilmen, in
10 the sum of $ 50.00 per month.
11 Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
12 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
13 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
