3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF VERNON AUTHORIZING CONTRACT
WI TH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR THE PAINTING OF TRAFFIC STRIPES
4 ON THE STREE'fS OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
RESOLUTION NO. ' o../.9~
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
6 THAT, WHEREAS, streets in the City of Vernon require
7 traffic stripes painted thereon, and
8 WHEREAS, it is for the best interests of the City of
9 Vernon that the County of Los Angeles be employed to paint said
10 traffic stripes in said city, and that a contract be entered
11 into between said parties setting forth the terms of their agree-
12 ment,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That the Mayor of said city and the Clerk
15 thereof are authorized to enter into and execute a proposed
16 agreement, dated April 13, 1~50, between the county of LOS
17 Angeles and the City of Vernon providing for the painting of
18 traffic stripes in the city of Vernon by the County of Los
19 Angeles.

section 2. The Ci ty Clerk of the Ci ty of Vernon is
21 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution
22 and thereupon ~~d thereafter the same shall be in full force
23 and effect.
24 ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 7th day of June, 1950.
