RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF VERNON APPOINTING
A MEMBER OF ITS GOVERNIN G BODY TO THE BOARD OF DI RECTORS OF
COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO.1.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, a portion of the City of Vernon is included
in County Sanitation District NO.1, and
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon is entitled to one director
on the Board of Directors of the said Sanitation District, and
WHEREAS, Mayor R. J. Furlong, has been representing the
City of Vernon on said Board of Directors,

NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That Mayor R. J. Furlong is hereby desig-

13 nated as the member of the governing body of the City of Vernon
14 to act as a member of the Board of Directors of said County Sani-
15 tation Ddstrict No.1.

Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
17 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
18 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in ful1 force and
19
effect.
