2 A RESOLUTION OF mE CITY COUNCIL 'OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPOINTING
A CITY TREASURER.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS~ there is a vacancy in the orfice or the City
6 Treasurer of the City of Vernon caused by the death of Franklin
7 G. French, City Treasurer~ on the 25th day of August~ 1950.

NOW~ THEREFORE, Vincent Robert poxon is hereby appointed
9 City Treasurer of the City of Vernon for the remainder of the un-
10 expired term of Franklin G. French.

Section 1. The Ci ty Clerk of the City of Vernon is
12 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution~
13 and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
14 and effect.
