2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING
THE COMPENSATION OF W. B. HOLLINGSWORTH, CITY ENGINEER, FOR THE
3 MONTHS OF MAY AND JUNE, 1950.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, W. B. Hollingsworth was acting as Assistant
6 City Engineer prior to May 1, 1950, and
7
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of May, 1950, in accordan~e
8 with the order of the City Council he assumed the office of
9 City Engineer, and
10
WHEREAS, the established salary of the City Engineer
11 was $850.00 per month,
12
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the City Council do order that the pay of W. B.
13
14 Hollingsworth, for the months of May and June, be adjusted to
15 the sum of $850.00 per month.
