RESOLUTION NO. 1518
2 A RESOLUTION OIP THE CITY OF VERNON DIRECTING THE GIVING OF NOTICE
INVITING BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION COMPLETE OF
3 TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS AND ACCESSORY EQUIPMENT AT SOTO STREET
AND FRUITLAND AVENUE, AND LEONIS BOULEVARD A...l\TD BOYLE AVENUE.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The City Clerk of the City or Vernon is
7 hereby directed to give notice inviting bids ror the rurnishing
8 and instal1ation complete or trafric control signals and accessory
9 equipment at the intersections or Soto street and Fruitland Ave-
10 nue, and Leonis Boulevard and Boyle Avenue.
11 Section 2. There being no newspaper of general circu-
12 lation printed, published and circulated in the CIty of Vernon,
13 the City Clerk is hereby directed to post said notice, or cause
14 the same to be posted, in three of the most public places in said
15 city, to wit: The northwest corner of 38th street and santa Fe
16 Avenue; the northwest corner of 37th Street and Santa Fe Avenue
17 and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of the
18 City of Vernon located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in said city.

Section 3. The first posting of said notice shall be not
20 less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for the
21 proposed project.
22 The Notice shall distinctly state the project to
23 be done.
24 The notice inviting sealed proposals or bids shall
25 set the date for opening of said bids.
Section 4.
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution
land thereupon and thereafter the same shal1 be in full force
and effect.
