WHEHl~.AS, the C...ty of Vernon bas been invostigating
the lupply;1.ng ot'motor oars and equipment to the police Depart-
ment of said city, and
WHEREAS, atter investigation it is determined to be
morEt economical to the City of Vernon to rent said Ilo.tor oars
and equipment than to purchase and maintain the sam., and
WHEREAS, the C:Lt1 council and the Chief of police ot
the City ot Vernon have determined that the contract of the
California Truck Rental Company, a Cal1tornia corporation, 1.
more advantageous to the Ci t1 ot vernon than any other,
NOW, THEREFOR~, the attached contract, together nth
Schedule "A" thereof, of the California Truck Rental Comp-Im1
is approved, and the Vayor and 01t1 Olerk are direoted w exe-
cute the same.
