RESOLUTION NO. 1542
1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CI TY C01JNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
BID OF G.M.C. TRUCK & COACH DIVISION, GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION,
2 FOR ONE TRUCK IN ACCORDANCE t~TH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 156 APPROVED
BY ORDINANCE NO. 1532.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI TY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
5 THAT WHEREAS, bids were received in accordance with
6 notice inviting bids for the furnishing of a truck in accordance
7 with the above numbered specifications, and
8 WHEREAS, on examination of said bid, the City Engineer
9 and the City Attorney- report that the bid of G. M. C. Truck &
10 Coach Division, General Motors corporation, is the lowest bid,
11 NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Vernon directs the proper
12 city officials to enter into a purchase agreement with the .G.M.O.
13 Truck & Coach DiViSion, General Motors corporation, for the pur-
14 chase of the truck in accordance with the terms and provisions of
15 their bid.
16 The City Cle rk of the City of vernon shall certify to
17 the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
18 same shall be in full force and effe ct.
