A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
BID OF G.M.C. TRUCK Be COACH DIVISION, GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION,
FOR ONE TRUCK IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 157, APPROVED
BY RESOLUTION Io. 1538, AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

'!'RAT WHEREAS, bids were received in accordance with
notice iDVi tillg bids ror the furnishing or a truck in accordance
wi th Specifications NO. 157, and
WHEREAS, on examination or said bid, tbe City E~neer
and tbe e~ty Attorne1 report that the bid or G.M.C. Truck Be
Coach Division, General Motors corporation, is the lowest bid,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Cit1 or vernon directs the proper
city orricials to enter into a purchase agreement with tbe G.M.C.
Truck Be coach Division, General Motors cnrporation, ror the pur-
chase of one G.M.C. truck, 1951 Model "F" 352, in accordance with
the terms and provisions or the bid, and that all other bids be
rejected.
