RESOLUTION No. 1547
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING
SPECIFICATIONS NO. 160 NOW ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY
CLERK OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE FURNISHING AND
DELIVERY OF ONE NE'W DEEP WELL TURBINE PUMPING UNIT AND ACCESSORY
EQUIPMENT FOR WATER WELL NO.5.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That Specifications No. 160 submitted by W. B. Holling-
worth, City Engineer of the City of vernon, for the furnishing
and delivery to the City of vernon of one new deep well turbine
pumping unit and accessory equipment for water Well No. 5 in ac-
cordance with the City of Vernon Specifications No. 160, now on
file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of vernon,
california, be, and they are hereby, approved.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice invit-
ing sealed proposals or bids to be furnished to the City of vernon,
California, at the office of the City Clerk of said ci ty, at the
crity Rall, 4305 santa Fe Avenue, Vernon, california, until the
hour of 2:00 O'clock P. M. of August 21, 1951, for the furnishing
and delivery to the City of Vernon of one new deep well turbine
pumping unit and accessory equipment for Water well No. 5 in ac-
cordance with Specifications No. 160 herein approved.
The City C'lerk of the Ci ty of vernon shall certify to
the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
