RESOLUTION No. 1550
1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON EXTENDING
TIME FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE WORK UNDER THAT CERTAIN CONTRACT
2 WITH BARBER-BRIDGE DRILLING CORP., LTD. UNDER SPECIFICATIONS
No. 153, CITY OF VERNON.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
5 THAT WHEREAS, BARBER-BRIDGE DRILLING CORP., LTD.
6 entered into a contract with the City of Vernon under date of
7 December 19, 1950, to drill a well in accordance with Specifica-
8 tions No. 153 of said city, and
9 WHEREAS, the said contractors have requested additional
10 time to complete the said well, and
11 WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Vernon recom-
12 mends that the extension of time for completion of the work be
13 granted,
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T RESOLVED:

section l. That the time given the contractor for
16 completion of the work under Specifications No. 153, and con-
17 tract dated .December 19, 1950, be extended to and including the
18 1st day of october, 1951.

Section 2.
The City Clerk of the Ci ty of Vernon is
20 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution,
21
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
22
and effect.
