1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF VERNON DIRECTING THE GIVING OF NOTICE
INVITING BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION OF THREE-WAY
2 FM RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS FOR THE CITY OF VERNON IN ACCORD-
ANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS No. 159 APPROVED BY frEE CITY COUNCIL.

4 TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

section 1. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
6 hereby directed to give notice inviting bids for the furnishing
7 and inst.allation of Three-Way FM Radio Communication Systems in
8 accordance with Specifications No. 159 approved by the City
9 Council of the City of Vernon on the 18th day of September, 1951.

Section 2. There being no newspaper of general circu~
Illation printed, published and circulated in the City of Vernon,
12 the City Clerk is hereby directed to post said notice, or cause
13 the saIrl9 to be posted, in three of the most public places in said
14 city, to wit: The northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe
15 Avenue; the northwest corner of 37th Street and Santa Fe Avenue
16 and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of the
17 City of Vernon located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in said city.

Section 3. The first posting of said notice shall be
not less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for
the proposed proje ct.
The notice shall distinctly state the project to

be done.
The notice inviting sealed proposals or bids shall

set the date for opening of said bids.
Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force

and effect.
