A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COlJNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
MOTOR TRUCK IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS No. 156 OF THE
OITY OF VERNON.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon
did heretofore enter into a contract with G.M.C. TRUCK & COACH
DIVISION, GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION, for the furnishing and de-
livery, in accordance with Specifications No. 156, of one new
motor truck, with flat bed body, and accessories, as set forth

in their contract of July 3, 1951, and
WHEREAS, G.M.C. Truck & Coach Division, General Motors
Gorporation, has furnished and delivered the said truck in ac-

cordance with the contract and specifications aforesaid, and
14
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Vernon has
examined said truck and recommends that the same be accepted by
15
the City,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1.
That the furnishing and delivery to the
18 City of Vernon of one motor truck with flat bed body and acces-
19 sories, all in accordance with the above referred to specifida-
20
tions and contract, be, and the same is hereby, accepted as com-
21
pleted in accordance with the terms of said contract.

Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
24

effect.
