RESOLUTION No. 1568
1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
ONE NEVV' MOTOR TRUCK WITH DUMP BODY AND ACCESSORIES IN ACCORDANCE
2 WITH SPECIFICATIONS No.. 155 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
3 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
4 THAT WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Vernon
5 did heretofore enter into a contract with International Harvester
6 Company, a corporation, to furnish and deliver, in accordance
7 with Specifications No. 155, one motor truck with dump body and
8 accessories for Street Department use, as provided in Specifica-
9 tions No. 155 and their contract of July 3, 1951, and
10 WHEREAS, International Harvester Company did complete
11 the furnishing of said truck and accessories, and
12 WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Vernon has
13 examined said truck and accessories and recommends that said
14 truck and accessories be accepted by the City,
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1. That the furnishing and delivery to the
17 City of Vernon of one new motor truck with dump body and accea-
18 sories in accordance with the aforementioned specifications and
19 contract, is hereby accepted as completed in accordance with the
20 terms of the contract of July 3, 1951.

Section 2. The Ci ty Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
