RESOLUTION No. 1561
1 .A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AWARDING
CONTRACT TO C. T. GILLIAM & ASSOCIATES FOR A JOB SURVEY IN 'mE
2 CITY OF VERNON .
3 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
4 THAT WHEREAS, the City council of the City of V&rnon
5 has made considerable investigation with reference to the pro cur-
6 iug of a wage level comparison survey of each job classifieation
7 of all employees in the City of Vernon, and

8 WHEREAS, theCi ty Council of the City of vernon believes
9 that the offer of C. T. Gilliam & Associates is the best offer
10 received for the doing of said work,
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,

Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Vernon
13 does hereby authorize the execution of the contract proposed by
14 C. T. Gilliam & Associates under date of October e, 1951, for
15 the doing of said. work for a consideration of Four Hundred Fifty
16 Dollars ($450.00), an~ that the Mayor of said Oity together with
17 the Ci t.1C:ler.k are a.uthorized to execute said agreement for and
18 on behalf ofsa.id City.

Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
Adopted and Approved at a regular meeting of said coun-
cil this 16th day of October, 1951.
